| Production Process |

| The production process involves the polymerization of Acrylonitrile (ACN) and Methyl Acrylate (MA) at 60 Degrees Centigrade. The polymer thus produced is then filtered and dried. The dried polymer is dissolved in organic solvent Dimethyl Formamide (DMF) and extruded into filaments by spinning. The DMF content is then removed and spun filaments are combined to form a rope. The rope is drawn, crimped, cut and dried for the production of fibre and drawn, crimped and dried for the production of tow. |
